These lunch boxes is perfect for my family's day trips. We pack four different snacks in leak-free containers, so everyone gets something they like. It also has room for an ice pack if needed. It's easy to carry, and the containers are easy to clean. It keeps food hot or cold, but it's best not to mix hot and cold items too much. If needed, I use another lunch box to separate hot and cold foods. Overall, it's really convenient and easy to use.
I bought this for my middle schooler. First, I tried just heating the food and packing it, which kept it slightly warm. Then I followed the instructions to use boiling water first, which worked better. I pack his lunch at 7 am, and after 4 hours, the food is warmish - not cold but not steaming hot. It's good enough.
This lunch box is perfect for my family. We often pack snacks and lunches for day trips. The thermal lunch box is well-made, easy to clean, and keeps food warm. However, the sealing cap on the air outlet hole comes off easily - I've already lost two. Also, be careful not to over-tighten the lid as I broke the plastic handle on mine. I only use it for solid foods, so it's still working out for me.
I can't say enough good things about this lunch box. My husband, son, and I have all used it. It keeps food hot or cold all day. It holds a lot of food and liquid doesn't spill at all. There's even a compartment for silverware and napkins. This lunch box is amazing.
